你之前的公司如何發揮優勢並贏過競爭對手？
每家公司的競爭優勢不同，要在激烈的市場中勝出，有時不一定要跟競爭對手一樣發展同質性的產品，而是要有區隔策略，找到公司的「藍海」，如此才會找到公司的利基。老闆透過這個問題了解應徵者是否了解「企業應如何發揮自身優勢」的概念。當然，在面談之前就要對這些基本商務概念有一定的了解，回答時也可以舉實際的例子來說明。
My previous company sold business apparel. We focused our strategy on the superior quality of the products and after sales service we could offer.我之前的公司銷售上班服飾。我們將策略重點放在提供優質產品和售後服務上。
When I worked at Plus Fashion Co, we sold women's business apparel. We competed against our rivals to win customers on the basis of price, quality of products, the type of promotions, and the quality of service. So when we developed our business strategies, we focused on the superior quality of our clothing products and after sales service we could offer. We didn't go for the lowest price. Instead, our strategy was more directed towards getting the right match of quality and price. Also we had devoted a lot of time to demonstrating the quality of products and service that we could bring to our customers, and that was the company's main competitive edge.當我在 Plus Fashion 公司服務時，我們銷售女性的上班服飾。我們以價格、產品品質、促銷方案和服務品質等要素跟對手競爭以贏得客戶。因此，當我們在發展競爭策略時，我們將重點放在提供優質服裝產品和售後服務上。我們不做低價競爭，我們的競爭策略較偏向在價格和品質之間取得最適當的搭配。另外，我們也花了很多時間證明我們可以為客戶提供高品質的產品與服務，這就是我們公司的主要競爭優勢。
