Instead of ignoring it or blaming someone for it, I try to be direct, clarify what is going on, and proactively work with others to reach a proper resolution. For example, when I was with Collins Soft-Drink Company, some of the team members believed the best way to promote our new beverage products was through a TV campaign, while some others insisted that internet advertising was the way to go. So conflict followed.
