中式英文Would you like to come to our home to have a dinner with us tomorrow?
老外這樣說一開始就用 “Would you like to …?” 會顯得太直接，若改用 “We were wondering if you’d like to …” 聽起來就較客氣。比方說：“We were wondering if you’d like to join us for dinner.”，或 “We were wondering if you’d like to come to the party?” 等。
