你喜歡住在小鎮上還是大都市？
有些公司位於大都會區之中，有些公司則位於小鎮上。老闆藉由此問題可了解應徵者偏好哪種生活型態，也藉此來判斷應徵者是否可以融入未來的工作環境。
I like to live in a big city, because it has developed transportation systems, plenty of activities to do, and more medical facilities.我喜歡住在大都市，因為都市有較完善的大眾交通系統很多的活動，還有較多的醫療設施。
I personally prefer to live in a big city. I am currently living in Taipei, and I can find plenty of malls around my neighborhood, where I can buy everyday necessities. Also I think in big cities, medical facilities and emergency services are more easily accessible than in the countryside. Big cities also have convenient transportation systems. In addition, there are always plenty of social activities, sports events and concerts. In the countryside, however, life may be too quiet and dull, and I may only have a few neighbors. Living alone with few activities might cause some mental problems.我個人比較喜歡住在大都市。我目前住在台北市，住家附近就有很多購物中心，可以買到每日的生活必需品。另外，我認為大都市的醫療設施和緊急服務比在鄉下地方更容易取得。大都市還有便利的交通系統，除此之外，還有許多的社交活動、體育賽事和音樂會等。但是在鄉下，生活可能會太安靜且無趣，而且鄰居可能也不多。獨自生活又沒有什麼活動可參與，可能會引起一些精神方面的問題。

正確說英文
所有學習語言的人都應該分析自己製造出來的錯誤！語言文字上的錯誤會造成溝通上的困擾，更會使說話者的專業形象大打折扣。要掌握一門語言，必須掌握英文語法與語意的特質，培養使用正確英語的良好習慣。
👀 突破盲點：如「吃過午餐」，應該是「過去」的事，因此助動詞用過去式。

👀 突破盲點：本句為疑問句，過去式的概念已經由助動詞did 表達，told 須還原。
✘ When did they told you about the salary increase?
⭕ When did they tell you about the salary increase?
他們什麼時候告訴你要加薪的？
👀 突破盲點：本句表達的是與過去事實相反的假設，if 子句須用過去完成式，主要句子在would 之後則接現在完成式。
✘ If I had the money then, I would buy the house.
⭕ If I had had the money then, I would have bought the house.
假如當時我有錢，就把房子買下了。
