英文寫作必備句型：舉例

☑「舉例 (illustrating ideas)」的好用句型&例句： Take for example the way that ... 就舉例來說，…… Take n.p. for example, ... 以～為例，…… For example/instance, ... 例如，…… A good example here is n.p., which ... 此處很好的一個例子是～，…… A good example here is the way that ... 此處很好的一個例子就是…… In my country, ... 在我國，…… In my situation, ... 以我的處境來說，…… On a personal level, ... 在個人的層次上，…… ..., such as ... 諸如 ..., like ... 像是例Take for example the way that most people do not enjoy it. 就舉例來說，大部分的人並不樂在其中。例A good example here is the way that Facebook is more popular with older people. 一個很好的例子是，臉書在較年長的人當中更受歡迎。例For example, many people use it every day. 例如，很多人是天天都使用。例It has many benefits like it is easy to use. 它有很多好處，像是容易使用。例It has many features, such as helping you to find people from your past. 它有很多功能，諸如幫忙你找到過去認識的人。例A good example here is Facebook which has great popularity. 一個很好的例子是大受歡迎的臉書。例In my situation, I used Facebook to keep in touch with friends when I was young. 以我的情況來說，我年輕時都是用臉書來跟朋友保持聯繫。 ☝注意！你可以在句中使用 for example/instance，也可以在一系列例子的前或後使用。 Such as 只會出現在句子中間，和 like 一樣。使用 In my country、In my situation、On a personal level 時，可舉出趣聞或描述某種個人經驗。在這種情況下，一定要用過去簡單式來描述過去的經驗。 ※ 以上內容節錄自貝塔語測《論證型英文寫作速成教戰》作者：Quentin Brand ＜好書推薦＞《從零開始架構學術論文、報告或研究文章》高等教育學生必備的學術寫作指南
