I concentrate on the most urgent and important issues, which helps me avoid distractions.
Answer 2
In college I took a time-management course and learned to prioritize all tasks on the “Urgent / Important Matrix” tool. I now use the tool to help me look at my task list and quickly prioritize the matters I should focus on. I always focus on the urgent and important issues first and make sure that I am working towards my goals, and try to avoid distractions that do not contribute to my desired outcomes. Of course, some issues cannot be foreseen or avoided, so I also allow sufficient time in my schedule to deal with unexpected situations.
