中式英文Let's have a quick check to see if everybody all wants to do it.
老外這樣說開會到一個階段主席要確認大家的意見時，“go around the table”是相當道地的說法，此即「詢問一輪在會議桌上每一個人的意見」之意。
A: It seems that most people think we should relocate the Beijing office.
B: Yes, but let's go around the table quickly to make sure we all agree. A：看起來大部分同仁都認為我們應該遷移北京辦公室。
B：是的，不過我們還是很快地問一遍看是否大家都同意了。
Does anyone have a different opinion? 有人有不同看法嗎？
Let's see a quick show of hands. Who agrees with the proposal? 我們很快地舉手表決一下吧。誰同意此提議案？
Are we ready to make a decision? Let's go ahead and take a vote. 我們可以做決定了嗎？我們就直接投票吧。
Unless there are any objections, let's move ahead with the proposal. 如果沒有任何異議，我們就照提議案來進行。

醫病溝通英文
出國人士碰到生病時，需要準確地表達身體的不適；從事醫療工作的同仁，常有外籍病人聽不懂醫學專有名詞的英文解釋。因此簡單實用的健康相關詞語，可以降低不少就診的障礙。
住院期間的請求
Patient: Can I get an extra pillow, please? 麻煩你，我可不可以多要一個枕頭？ Medical staff: Do you need another blanket as well? 你是不是也需要多一張毯子？
Patient: Is it possible to turn down the air conditioner? 有沒有可能把冷氣溫度調低一點？ Medical staff: The thermostat is right by the light switch. 自動調溫器就在電燈開關的右邊。
Medical staff: If you want to go to the bathroom, you have to wheel your IV drip in with you. 你如果想上洗手間，必須把你的點滴一起推進去。 Patient: I think I may need help getting to the bathroom. 我想我可能需要人扶我進洗手間。 Medical staff: If there's an emergency, push this red button. 如果有緊急狀況，按下這個紅色按鈕。
Patient: What should I do if I need assistance? 假如我需要協助該怎麼辦？ Medical staff: If you need anything, just push the call button next to your bed. 如果你需要任何東西，只要按下床邊的呼叫按鈕就行了。
Medical staff: I'm sorry, there's no TV in shared rooms after ten o'clock. 對不起，多人房在十點之後不能看電視。 Patient: Can you give me anything to help me sleep? 你可不可以開些藥給我好幫助我入睡？
