Let’s see if we can use the set-phrases we learned last time. In the following task there are lots of possible answers. When you do this task you need to think about two things:
1. The meaning of the set-phrase
Make sure you choose a set-phrase which matches the mneaning of the whole email.
2. The end of the set-phrase
You need to look at the language at the end of the gap. What kind of language is it? Is it an n.p. or a v.p.? And you need to choose a set-phrase which matches this.
Task 1: Complete these emails with a suitable set-phrase from last week.
