This week, we are going to look at some errors which are very common in Taiwan.

Task 1: Study the error box: most/almost

Wrong	Right
Almost all people I know work in the same industry. I most forgot my umbrella this morning! Most of people are happy with the product.	Most people I know work in the same industry. I almost forgot my umbrella this morning! Most of the people are happy with the product. / Most people are happy with the product.

Notes:

*Remember, ‘almost’ means 差不多. Always use it in front of a verb.

*Remember, ‘most’ means 大部份. Always use it in front of a noun.

*Don’t use ‘most of.’ It’s wrong.

*Use ‘most n.p.’ to talk about things in general; or ‘most of the n.p.’ to talk about specific things.
