Using 2 Object Verbs

As you may remember, there are some verbs which take 2 objects. Some of these 2 object verb chunks are invertible, and some are not invertible.

Invertible 2 object verb chunks

Task 1: Read the email and find the verb chunks from the language bank in the email. Underline them and notice how they are used.

give s/th to s/o

send s/o s/th

send s/th to s/o

*You can see that there are two possible answers for each wrong sentence, depending on which object you want to put first.

*The object you put last is the one which in your mind is the most important.
