商用英文口語
進行企業溝通時，以細膩的表達方式自然地使用英文，與商務夥伴建立起的關係會更加牢固可靠；而一句話也不會只有一種表達法，希望讀者們看完例句後能舉一反三，依照自己所遇到的情境靈活應用。
那些要求對我們來說太超過了。
中式英文 Those requirements are too over for us.
老外這樣說 「太超過」要怎麼說？ "Those requirements are too over …" 顯然是直譯下的說法。事實上，像這種情況，老外通常會婉轉地用 "We can't accept …" 來表達對過份要求無法接受之意。另外，此處所謂的「要求」指的應是對方所開出的「條件」，因此使用 "terms" 這個字才正確。
A：We'll need to receive the order within 14 days of placing it, and we won't be able to pay for shipping.
B：I'm afraid we can't accept those terms. A：我們需要在下訂後十四天之內收到貨品，而且我們無法支付運費。
B：這樣的條件我們恐怕無法接受。
We can't agree to those terms.我們無法同意那些條件。
Those terms are a little too restrictive for us.那些條件對我們而言有點太嚴苛了。
We'd be willing to accept that if you could extend the lead time to 21 days.如果您可以將交貨作業時間延長至二十一天，我們就願意接受。
If you're willing to pay the full amount up front, we could do that.如果您願意預先付清款項，我們就同意這麼做。

正確說英文
所有學習語言的人都應該分析自己製造出來的錯誤！語言文字上的錯誤會造成溝通上的困擾，更會使說話者的專業形象大打折扣。要掌握一門語言，必須掌握英文語法與語意的特質，培養使用正確英語的良好習慣。
突破盲點：In the morning(s) 為固定用法，介系詞必須用 in，但可以說 at down「破曉時」。

The weekly meetings should be held in the mornings.
每星期的例會應該在早上舉行。
突破盲點：In the evening、in the morning 和 in the afternoon 為固定用法。另，at night、at dawn、at noon 和at midnight 亦不可任意更改。
He will work at the evening.
He will work in the evening.
他將在晚上工作。
突破盲點：At night 和 in the evening 為固定用法，不可混淆。
The new rule is that we cannot work in the office in the night.
The new rule is that we cannot work in the office at night.
新規章是我們晚上不能在公司工作。
