商用英文口語

不好意思。這牛排太老了，我點的是三分熟。
中式英文 Excuse me. This steak is too old. I wanted it softer.
老外這樣說 「牛排太老」和「幾分熟」的英文怎麼說？當然不能用中譯的方式說成 "too old" 和 "soft" 囉！老外通常會以 "overdone" 或 "overcooked" 來表示「食物煮太久（而導致口感變硬）」。另外，牛排的熟度分為 "well done"（全熟）、"medium well"（七分熟）、"medium"（五分熟）、"medium rare"（四分熟）以及 "rare"（三分熟）等。
A：Excuse me. This steak is overdone. I ordered rare.
B：I'm sorry. Let me take that and bring you a new one. A：不好意思。這牛排太老了，我點的是三分熟。
B：很抱歉。我馬上幫您收走，再為您送上一份新的。
I'm sorry. This chicken is undercooked.對不起，這份雞肉沒煮熟。
My soup is cold. Could you take it back and heat it up?我的湯是冷的，你能不能拿回去再將它熱一下？
I'm sorry, but this is just too spicy for me.對不起，這份料理對我來說太辣了。

正確說英文
所有學習語言的人都應該分析自己製造出來的錯誤！語言文字上的錯誤會造成溝通上的困擾，更會使說話者的專業形象大打折扣。要掌握一門語言，必須掌握英文語法與語意的特質，培養使用正確英語的良好習慣。
突破盲點：Since（或because）為從屬連接詞，so 為對等連接詞，二者不可同時使用（雖然中文說「因為⋯⋯，所以⋯⋯」），須擇一。

2. The new product is very successful, so we want to celebrate.
1. 因為新產品非常成功，我們想慶祝一番。
2. 新產品非常成功，所以我們想慶祝一番。
突破盲點：At last 是「終於」的意思， 不適用於本句， 應改為 Last 或 Finally「最後」。

最後，我想談談財務問題。
突破盲點：At first 是「最初、開始時」的意思，與句意不符，應直接用副詞first，表示「首先」。
