Show Time→
Dennis:Is that what I think it is? I haven't heard that ringtone since 2004.
Veronica:What? So, I've got an old Nokia. There's nothing wrong with that.
Dennis:Aren't you afraid people are going to notice?
Veronica:Notice what? I like my phone, Dennis. Besides, I'm in good company.
Nokia has practically cornered the market.
Dennis:I wouldn't say that. Just because they're on top,
doesn't mean they dominate the market,
say the way Chunghwa has monopolized the ADSL market.
  Veronica:Well, that's because there's such stiff competition.
Besides, Nokia competes on features and quality.
Even this old one that I've got still does everything
I need it to–and it's been working fine for over three years now.
Dennis:It's true that the Nokia brand is known for reliability.
That's one of their competitive advantages.
If they really wanted to gain a larger market share though,
they'd have to lower their prices.I know lots of people who don't even consider
buying Nokias because they can't afford them.
Veronica:I don't know if that would be a good idea. Price competition is a risky strategy.
Dennis:Yes, but it's one that I think we'll have to consider.
As a new manufacturer, I'm not confident that our phones will be as reliable as Nokia's.
Veronica:Well, it looks like we'll just have to find a differentniche.

.Price competition is a (good/bad/risky) strategy.
