We will be ready for departure as soon as a few more passengers have finished boarding. Please make sure that your seats are in the upright position and your personal belongings are placed under the seat in front of you. Our crew will make sure all baggage is secured in the overhead racks. When we reach our cruising altitude, we will be serving refreshments. We expect light turbulence today, so please keep your seatbelts fastened at all times when seated.

*departure的動詞為depart，depart from指「從...離開」。而反義詞「到達、入境」是arrival，其動詞為arrive。departure lounge（出境大廳）、departure time（出發時間）
2. passenger【名】乘客
*air passengers（搭乘飛機的乘客）
3. board【及/不及】登上；搭乘
*boarding pass（登機證）
4. upright position（座椅呈）豎直狀態
5. personal belongings 個人隨身物品；個人的所有物
*belongings用複數形
6 crew【名】機組人員；全體船員；一起工作的夥伴（集合名詞）
*air crew（機組員）、flight attendant（空服員）
7. baggage【名】行李（不可數名詞）
*同義字有luggage和suitcase(s)。checked baggage（托運行李）、carry-on baggage（隨身行李）、baggage claim（行李提領處）
8. overhead racks（頭頂上方的）手提行李櫃
*也可用overhead compartments。而rack指「擱物架」，如放腳踏車的架子
9. altitude【名】高度
*cruising altitude（巡航高度）。altitude的同義字為height
10. refreshments【名】茶點；點心（常用複數）
*「點心」、「零食」叫snack
11. turbulence【名】亂流
12. fasten【及】繫牢；扣緊
*fasten a seatbelt（繫安全帶）
